Prime Minister maintains innocence,Sacks Attorney General, Disband Task Force Sweep

The desperate circus leader with his sideshow clowns.
Prime Minister Peter O’Neill maintained his innocence in the fraudulent payment of millions of public funds to Paraka Lawyers and deplored the manner in which a warrant of arrest was issued to arrest him.
He has directed the establishment of a Commission of Inquiry to be headed by Justice Warwick Andrews.
He believes his arrest is politically motivated and is a result of the changes he made in government when he removed certain government ministers.
Prime Minister Peter O’Neill hosted a media conference today, backed by all PNC cabinet members and ministers and other coalition partners, including Deputy Prime Minister Leo Dion, as a show of solidarity.
He again denied signing the letter authorising the payment of millions of kina to Paul Paraka, and said that claims that his arrest were based on new evidence were all done by people with vested interests.
He says organizations and government departments involved in dealing with the Paraka saga have all compromised their roles and a Commission of Inquiry was needed to solve this.
He said the inquiry was crucial to build many institutions who have compromised their roles in the Paraka saga. He said even the Task Force Sweep team is subject to this inquiry as some of its officers and investigations have also been compromised.
Prime Minister O’Neill promised that recommendations from this inquiry will be presented to the Public Prosecutor and those found guilty, including himself, will be duly prosecuted.
He further said the engagement of Paraka lawyers was done years ago, even before he became Prime Minister, and no-one disputed the payments until he issued a directive on the 13th of May 2013 for this to be investigated.
Deputy Governor, Leo Dion, Enga Governor, Peter Ipatas, Trade and Industry Minister, Richard Maru, and NCD Governor, Powes Parkop, all expressed concern on the manner in which the Prime Minister was treated, saying proper protocols were not followed.
They also appealed to the media, including social media, not to speculate and to report responsibly.

*****

Is it true that Peter O'Neill said as reported by EMTV tonight: "He further said the engagement of Paraka lawyers was done years ago, even before he became Prime Minister, and no-one disputed the payments until he issued a directive on the 13th of May 2013 for this to be investigated"?
It's on record/audio & visual recording (a Talkback FM 100 interview) that the Opposition Leader Hon. Belden Namah and Deputy Opposition Leader Hon. Sam Basil initially disputed in 2012 the initial payment made to Paul Paraka Lawyers. We believe that if the Prime Minister had acted on the complaint by the Opposition in 2012 then many millions of State funds (tax payers money) would have been saved. Here are excerpts of an article I did in September last year which was published by PNG Blogs at the time:
The Opposition Leader Hon. Belden Namah had tabled the letter on the floor of parliament on the 23rd of May 2013 after he was shouted down by certain MP’s when he tried to read the letter out loud ‘so everyone can understand’. That was the session, you may recall, when Peter O’Neill told Belden Namah ‘Don’t you worry, I will do you in slowly’. The previous week - on May 17th 2013 - after the Speaker initially prevented the Opposition Leader from asking questions about the ‘staggering’ 71.8 million Kina in public funds allegedly paid fraudulently to Paul Paraka Lawyers - Belden Namah advised during a press conference: “let me just go back in history in time, when I was the Deputy Prime Minister and Forest Minister in the government - O’Neill Namah government - I had a similar press conference on this issue on Paul Paraka lawyers. It was never reported on media, either in the EMTV, Kundu or Post and National.”

During Talkback on FM100 (22/5/13), the Deputy Opposition Leader Sam Basil also advised that the matter had been brought to the attention of the Prime Minister and the media – in 2012 prior to the elections. “We talked about half of the 71 million – 30 million of the 71 million. We brought it to light. We said look there is illegal payments going on here. Somebody do something. Prime Minister do something. And we expect the media to throw the light over it during that press conference. To our surprise none of the media outlet ran the story. Even the Prime Minister knew that we had raised the concern regarding those payments; he did nothing about it and if the press would have done something about it and publicized that press conference we would have saved forty million now.”
In a statement dated 13 September 2013, authorized for release by Task Force Sweep Chairman Sam Koim, the public was advised that “Investigations by Task-Force Sweep reveal that officers at Finance Department continued to pay Paul Paraka Lawyers since March 2007 in total defiance of two Supreme Court Stay Orders preventing any payment to that law firm. They did so by paying monies into eight (8) different law firms and a nominee company of Mr Paraka. Department of Finance even paid service providers of Paraka Lawyers directly on account of Paraka Lawyers. From the evidence available to Task-Force Sweep, the total amount paid since March 2007 has gone up to almost K300 million. That amount excludes payments made to this law firm during the tenure of their brief out and prior to the Supreme Court stay orders. Many more heads will roll in the coming days. Meanwhile, Mr Paul Paraka has gone into hiding. He was invited by the Police Fraud Squad to come for an interview since more than a week ago but did not turn up. Anybody has information to his whereabouts; please report to the National Fraud Squad.”

New Attorney General ANO PALA is a savvy little crook, just like puppet master O'Neill

ANO PALA, a very sly and cunning thief but also a quiet manipulator and intriguer, is the current Rigo MP serving in his second term and was also last night appointed as the new Minister for Justice. While all the media radars including the social media networks are focusing and concentrating on the moves of the ‘heavies’ as in O’Neills, Marapes, Polyes and Namahs by the day, the ‘light heavies’ division in the likes of Ano Pala and others are mounting silent drain-out and killer-raid activities to further destroy, loot and rape our treasury.

Rigo Progress Corporation Limited (RPCL) in which Ano Pala is the sole share-holder owning 2 shares and his District Administrator Iobu Lalaivaina and one of the Ano Pala’s own relative, Patrick Amini who also hails from the same Alukuni village, are directors of RPCL.

The plant equipment were purchased through RPCL but since landing in Rigo the Chairman of RPCL Mr Patrick Amini has demanded stringent management of the plants for work in Rigo district alone.

This has not sat well with Ano Pala as he had other intentions. Pala at first allowed these plants to be used by his cousin Mark Vali who owns Veupunama, for roadworks done on the Hula road. Mr Vali then billed Rigo district for the roadworks and was paid. In his invoice he also billed for the plant equipment as if they belonged to him. Rigo paid expediently without question. At the centre of this deal was DA Lalaivaina and Pala's "buttboy", Mr Ako Toua.

Mr Ako Toua is an interesting player in Rigo's affairs. He is a Hanuabada man who is an ex British American Tobacco salesman who has served a jailterm in the late 90's for theft from a previous employer.

He is also a longterm chilhood close friend of Pala's eldest son Ai Pala. Toua wears many caps currently and is being paid for each position that he holds. Postions such as:

1. Rigo MP personal advisor
2. Minister for Transport personal advisor
3. Central Governor personal advisor
4. RPCL Managing Director (recent apppointment: on demand by Ano Pala) Mr Toua basically does Pala's "wheeling & dealing". Toua has several companys registered one of which he is in partnership with Ai Pala.

After plant equipment used by Mark Vali, no funds were remitted to RPCL for use of the plants by Mark Vali. The plant equipment were then taken to the LNG plant site area, as arranged by Ako Toua and Charles Amini (Rigo district project coordinator) by a company owned by a Mr Charles Kassman (of which Toua has interests). The plants were said to be "on hire" by Kassmans's company.

Prior to this Pala through Toua demanded that Kassman be hired as a Business Consultant for RPCL. The plants were then used to clear Kassman's privately owned land near the LNG site. This site belonging to Kassman has been earmarked by Kassmans company, has used to for a private business partnership between his company and the company Orica. After the plants were used here, no payment was made back to RPCL much to the ire of RPCL Chairman Patrick Amini. Mr Patrick Amini has now realised all the funny play going on around him and is in the process of resigning from RPCL.

This makes way for the newly appointed MD of RPCL Ako Toua to basically take over all RPCL activities. Mr Toua has now, after the plants use with Kassmans company, demanded that a company which he owns in partnership with Ai Pala, take over as business managers for the Rigo plant equipment. Ano Pala has "no balls" and is a coward in character using Ako Toua to do his dirty deals and appears to be distant from it all.

Toua does not realise how cunning his "Master" is. He is blindly dealing and providing under the table money to Pala, but as soon as the shit hits the fan Ano Pala, the gutless wonder, will deny all involvement with Ako Toua's dealings and Toua will take the fall. All this is happening with the full cooperation of DA Iobu Lalaivaina who gets his small cut in everything, and is vetoed by Rigo District Coordinator Charles Amini. Ano Pala also has a firm grip on the Central Governor's office via Toua's placement in there.

News is surfacing through political informants that the PM has directed AG and NEC to disband Task Force Sweep standing down Sam Koim. This would prevent the TFS Chairman from further investigations into corruption against Members of Parliament.

The Investigation Task Force Sweep was established August 2011 by NEC. The initiative was spearheaded by Prime Minister Peter O’Neill as part of his well-publicised his anti-corruption campaign.

The mandate of Task Force Sweep was initially to investigate allegations of corruption and mismanagement in the Department of National Planning and Monitoring, but the scope was expanded to include investigating allegations of corruption in a number of other government departments and their officials.

Task Force Sweep is chaired by Sam Koim, the Principal Legal Officer at the Department of Justice and Attorney-General. The investigations are led by the Police Department’s Fraud and Anti-Corruption Unit and Finance Intelligence Unit (FIU). The team is composed of senior members of the Police Force, Public Prosecutor’s Office, Internal Revenue Commission, the Ombudsman Commission, the Auditor General’s Office, the Justice Department, Treasury and Provincial and Local Level Government. Due to its composition, Task Force Sweep has the power to investigate, prosecute and recover the proceeds of crime.

Although the TFS reports to the Minister each of the agencies are constitutional offices and can not be disbanded for carrying out their constitutional duties.

Breaking NEWS! PM WINS COURT BATTLE AS HIS NEW POLICE COMMISSIONER "CONSENTS"

By:Cedric Patjole PNGLOOP

The Prime Minister has won a victory in court as the new Police Commissioner tells court the Royal PNG Constabulary consents to the PM request for a stay on the arrest warrants.

Judge Ere Kariko ruled at 11am that he accepted the change of lawyers to represent the Police Force in the matter.

Then, the new Police Commissioner Geoffrey Vaki informed the court that he consented on behalf of the force to the Prime Minister’s request for a stay on the arrest warrants that were issued for Mr O’Neill last Thursday.

This means that fraud squad detectives who had formally asked the Prime Minister to present for an interview on questions to do with payments to Paraka Lawyers, will no longer be able to enforce the warrants and arrest Mr O’Neill.

People of PNG, Now is the time to take peaceful action

Various people on the social media over the years have pointed back to what was PNG’s finest hour ever.  That one bright time in PNG’s history came at the end of the Sandline Scandal, when the corrupt PM Julius Chan paid K100 million to bring an army of foreign white mercenaries, fully armed,  to start slaughtering Bougainvilleans so that Chan could have his way and get the Panguna mine reopened and churning revnues into the national treasury.   It was all about money.

Just like today, there was an organised movement against Sandline which had its own leaders.  Those leaders played a positive role in some respects.   However just like what we see today, those leaders also happened to be hypocrites in their own right.  For example the arms buying bribe-taking General Jerry Singirok is replaced today by the SABL land grabbing Beldon Namah as pretend leaders for truth and justice.  Nothing has changed in that respect.

In 1996 the people of PNG listened to the pretend leaders.  They then proceeded to go their own way.  The determined, peaceful gathering of hundreds of common citizens to form a human halo around our parliament building turned the tide of the evening deliberations to force PM Chan to step down, along with his equally corrupt sidekick Deputy PM Chris Haiveta.   The MPs inside, anxious about the growing people power movement assembling outside, convinced Chan and his cronies to step aside.  With that action, the planned Sandline genocide against our own people was averted.  But credit didn’t go to the MPs.  They were not leaders .  They were folllowers of the people.

This one night of incredible people power gave people all over PNG hope that truth and justice can prevail in our land.  The night ended with the deposed Prime Minister Chan hiding in the back of a police vehicle, dressed in a police uniform, in fear of his life.  And no wonder that he was frightened, considering the lives he was prepared to take in the name of Bougainville Copper Limited making a profit.
Believe it.  This was the finest hour of PNG’s history.  The simple but effective action showed that  the average citizen of this country was perfectly capable of standing up for truth and justice irrespective of the presence or absence of someone leading the way.   Evil only prevails when good people do nothing, and that night the good people organised themselves and made their decision.
Unfortunately, we rested too much on the accomplishement of that night.

The following years have been characterised by an amazing amount of citizen laziness and complacency.  We failed to understand that the role of a responsible citizen does not start and end with one protest, when one goes to work, or when one goes to church or sits down and eats.    Being a responsible citizen is a 24/7 job.  In other countries, being a responsible citizen comes above all other missions in life for a few dedicated souls.    They meet the challenge because they heed the highest, purest calls to action.  A few pay with their lives and become the latest true heros of those societies.

Today is 18 June 2014.  We find ourselves again with a Sandine situation in PNG.   Peter O’Neill is desperately trying to cling to power and that is worrisome because we know that  O’Neill was never a man to follow laws he didn’t like.  Repeatedly, he ignores existing laws that impede his greed.   If that isn’t enough, he pushes through new laws and regulations to suit his selfish desires.   Peter O’Neill is not leaving the prime ministership quietly, my friends.  Nor is there much hope that letting the system perform will ensure that justice is prevailed.  Peter O’Neill, more than any other PNG leader today  symbolises the breakdown and rot that now affects PNG’s justice system.    It all gets captured with 3 letters:   NPF.

Peter O’Neill needs to be given that little extra push that will knock him off his bird’s perch into the sewage of corruption and greed that he has created through his leadership.

Only the people can make it happen at this critical point.   We have no patience for the plodding, ineffective anti-corruption marches of Transparency Internatioinal, nor the politicised whingy protests of pollie wannabes like Noah Anjo.  No, it is time the people speak with their own voices and speak in large enough numbers that count.  We must get ourselves out of the habit of always waiting for someone, rather than our conscience, to lead us.   Following a human being has too often led us astray and made things worse.  Following our conscience always leads to justice.

Every scumbag national leader in the world fears the challenge of the people. They will do everything possible to discourage, intimidate, outlaw and otherwise stop the people from speaking in mass. They will use every excuse known to man as their justification.  And oftentimes, they will be shockingly effective in getting people who should know better to join their side.

But the people as a whole cannot be bought or swayed.  It is 18 June 2014 and time for all of us to leave our workplace and simply go out and enjoy the fresh air until Peter O’Neill steps down.  No need for organising marches or waiting for someone to tell us what to do.  No value in listening to discouraging voices.   Each and every one of us can take simple, effective action.   Go out and smell the frangipani flowers, chew, smoke and converse, and show Peter O’Neill that the people have just withdrawn their authority for him to lead!  Fill the streets of all PNG towns and cities peacefully and with a smile.   Jam the sidewalks with human bodies that speak but one simple message:  Enough is enough.   It is time to go, Peter O’Neill.

Wildcat strikes and mass walkouts are used all over the world today to get action and see that justice is served.  It is time to walk, people of PNG.   Go outside and capture the sun’s warmth of truth and justice.

**** PM’s party shows solidarity ****
MEMBERS of the ruling People’s National Congress Party turned up in numbers at Parliament to show solidarity for Prime Minister Peter O’Neill yesterday.
Coalition partners also joined PNC members to show their support for Prime Minister Hon. Peter O’Neill, which included the THE party’s Leo Dion, who is also the Deputy Prime Minister, and Social Democratic Party Leader and Governor for the National Capital District, Powes Parkop to name a few.
Four leaders spoke on behalf of their regions: Enga Governor Peter Ipatas for the Highlands Region; Transport Minister and Rigo MP Ano Pala pledged the Papuan region support; Trade Minister and Yangoru Sausia MP Richard Maru did so for Momase and Mr Dion spoke on behalf of the New Guinea Islands.
Mr Dion appealed to all media organisations to be fair and sensible in their reporting and to take serious responsibility in the coverage these issues.
"The process must be respected," Mr Dion said.
"I must also appeal to the media to be responsible in its reporting. I speak on behalf of the New Guinea Islands region, we have the responsibility to look after this nation.” Mr Parkop on the other hand said: "We are not protecting Peter O’Neill as a person but we have to protect the public office that he holds. This is the highest office of our land and I appeal to the leaders involved, let us put the interest of the people first and foremost."

The bullshit and propaganda is flowing freely on social media and mainstream media. Let those who have knowledge and understanding make up their own minds about what they want to believe. Educated Papua New Guineans, if you have not yet done so, now is a great time to educate your illiterate families, tribes, friends and wantoks before they believe outright lies being peddled by people who do not care who they fool, as long as their pockets are lined up with their share of the loot and spoils stolen from the very people they attempt to fool.

Its time for Papua New Guineans to call an ace an ace and a spade a spade!

The call for the resignation by the Prime Minister is a political question, not so much a legal question. The Prime Minister, like any body who goes through the criminal justice system is innocent until proven guilty. Here are some matters the Prime Minister should consider when making that decision.

Kua was Somare's lawyer in the misconduct allegations against Somare. They went through the judicial process to challenge the OC. They failed. But they fronted up at the Leadership Tribunal, went through the process, found guilty by the Tribunal, paid the fine and life goes on. Skate resigned as Prime Minister paving the way for Sir Mekere to come in an atmosphere of serious allegations leveled against him. Julius Chan resigned when public opinion against him was overwhelming in the Sandline Affair. We hold public office as custodians for the people. If they are wrong in their convictions, they stand to suffer. That is the nature of our democracy. We have nothing to lose. Its their office.

There are important national matters that the Prime Minister must attend to. There are roads to be built, hospitals to maintain, doctors to be trained, borders to be protected, investors to meet and the list goes on. If one is busy fighting a criminal matter, looking over one's shoulder when the next counter move will be made, attending a Commission of Inquiry, sacking "disobedient" ministers and servants of the state, how can one give their 100% level best to serve the interest of the country? One's time and attention is divided. One cannot serve two masters. "To be or not to be, that is the question".

Whilst one serve office, they enjoy the confidence of the people. If that confidence is no longer apparent in one's leadership, and we are a democracy, it is an irreconcilable position to be in and one must do the honourable thing and resign. A leaf should be taken out of the dissenting opinion of the member of Leadership Tribunal Sir Robin Auld in the Somare Leadership Tribunal who thought that Somare should be dismissed from office. He said, "what would the reasonable person at Gordon's market think about it?" What would the ordinary Papua New Guinean think the Prime Minister should do under the present circumstances?

When the Prime Minister relies on his privilege as a Member of Parliament to avoid a warrant of arrest, it raises the question whether one is using his office for personal gain and therefore misconduct in office under s 27 of the Constitution. Does an ordinary Papua New Guinean have that privilege when they are called into question by the police? When a Commission of Inquiry is set up to exonerate one from a criminal allegation, when the same question can be raised in one's defence before a court of law, it raises the question of whether the Prime Minister is using his office for personal gain and therefore misconduct in office. How many ordinary Papua New Guineans can set up a Commission of Inquiry when they are called into question by the police. When a Minister of State is decommissioned for dubious reasons, which a reasonable person can infer for not giving concurring advice to avert investigation and arrest, that raises the question of whether one is using one's office for personal gain and therefore misconduct in office. When a career serving police officer is sidelined for purportedly ordering the arrest of a Police Commissioner whose decisions have been in one's interest, that raises the question of possible misconduct in office. Again the same can be said for Task Force Sweep.

Task Force is an administrative arrangement. It is not a statutory body. When the Opposition called for its disbanding, it was ignored. There would have been good legal grounds to disband it. Now that the subject of the investigation is the Prime Minister, it is dismantled. Is that a case of using public office for personal gain? Paul Tienstein obviously would say yes despite his desperate plea that it was "politically motivated".

How many inmates in Bomana would also like to have a Commission of Inquiry into their conviction on the basis of that they were wrongfully convicted. A life is a life, no matter who you are. It is a wrong signal to the people of Papua New Guinea that there are two sets of laws.

There are national security issues at stake here. The longer the matter pro-longs the potential for widespread discontent arises. Stand-off between and among the disciplined officers is a serious threat. Investor confidence will be impaired and the gains from LNG will be lost over night. Its time to make the hard decision for the national interest.

There appears to be another potential stand-off between the executive and the judiciary. The same question on the legality of the payments to Paraka Lawyers is being determined by the court in his criminal matter. The same question will confront the Prime Minister if he is charged. By setting up a Commission of Inquiry, a quasi-judicial body will deal with the same question. It is questioning the independence of the judiciary. This is not in the national interest.

If the Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea has no faith in the police and the judiciary to determine the truth of the allegations against him, his own people, but choosing instead to rely on a Commission of Inquiry headed by an Australian, are we than a failed state? As the Opposition Leader said, "Prime Minister you are the first man in Papua New Guinea". If you don't believe in me, who else will?

The reason I have made this decision to make this call, is that Sam Koim an ordinary Papua New Guinean has put his hand up for Papua New Guinea, and I would be ashamed to call myself a Papua New Guinean if I did not honour his courage by having something to say. His involvement in the investigation suggests to me that there is no "political motivation". After all he was appointed by the Prime Minister and has nothing to gain or lose except his reputation.

Never for a moment think that the devil doesn’t come in disguise, offering attractive lollies to join his side.  Never believe that he can’t find supporters to cry his pretend name with reverence.  Don’t think he can’t easily sway people with material temptations.   That is the devil’s power.  But anyone who possesses a soul and blocks their minds to the devils superficial propaganda and temptations will see the truth.  The reason why the devil rules PNG today in one form or another is due to continued public ignorance and the inability to resist superficial temptation.

Peter O’Neill is the master of offering devilish lollies.  He offers FREE HEALTH CARE in thousands of rural aid posts containing either no medicine or counterfeit drugs to treat the dying.  He offers FREE EDUCATION to all young people in overflowing classrooms with no books or other resource materials, and sometimes no teachers.   The devil’s FREE HEALTH and FREE EDUCATION programme has become an obscenity to rural people in PNG.   He brings lollies that glitter on the surface but have nothing inside: FREE access to no medicine and FREE access to a poor education.   Only the ignorant haven’t figured that out.

PNG’s devil destroyed the best hope ever for PNG to use its LNG money wisely to achieve nearly permanent wealth like Norway has done.  That once in a million opportunity was lost forever the moment Peter O’Neill pushed aside the Sovereign Wealth Fund to borrow billions using future LNG gas revenue as collateral. Such instant gratification is typical of Satan and it killed the Fund.   Now as long as LNG flows, PNG’s future leaders won’t save a toea.  They’ll follow Peter O’Neill's lead and borrow, borrow, borrow.  Much of the borrowed money will go into corrupt pockets rather than delivering goods and services.   Future PNG governments will pay foreign banks billions in interest on all the borrowed money, giving billions to the foreign banks.  Cronies of future PM’s will continue pocketing tens of millions of kina in middleman fees each time a new loan is negotiated on behalf of the government.   It will be the Paul Paraka story over and over again.  But our PNG devil isn’t worried.  He knows that most Papua New Guineans can’t even pronounce Sovereign Wealth Fund, much less explain it.

Peter O’Neill’s is taking over the Ok Tedi Sustainable Development Programme because the devil knows what a cash cow it was.   Those who support this devil don’t bother to find out what the well managed PNGSDP was accomplishing before O’Neill destroyed it-far more than the government ever will.  The devil doesn’t care if Ok Tedi’s billions will bring sustainable development or is wasted.  All he cares about is finding the cash needed to buy the 2017 election.  With Ok Tedi money, the devil can  follow the same strategy of 2012, when he and equally devilish Don Polye put PNG K500 million into instant debt through their sneaky “supplementary budget”.  That money, borrowed just before the election, is long gone, leaving behind the taxpayer’s burden of paying it all back + interest.   And how did the devil use K500 million to buy the 2012 election?   By sending that money out to electoral districts, especially to his candidates!  Yes, lots of money but no acquittals required, no planning or sustainability needed, and hardly any lasting development to show for it.   Heaps of construction machinery bought with that money already broken down, along with collapsing roads that were quickly pushed into the bush. Hastily thrown together community buildings are already falling apart.  All the food and beer from the big feasts quickly turned into pisspiss and pekpek.  It didn’t matter. These devilish temptations achieved their objective:  to drown out competing candidates who perhaps were trying to speak truths instead of buying votes.   Ignorant people only see the devil’s attractive gifts.  The devil expects to use the general strategy of 2012 to buy the 2017 election.

Peter O’Neill supporters love and welcome these devilish temptations.  They cry about all the development he is bringing, closing their eyes to the obvious fact that the promise of LNG money and indebtedness, not Peter O’Neill, is bringing more government activities.  The signs of flashy development are either mostly borrowed or comes from foreign investments that behind the scenes result in billions of kina leaving the country and into the pockets of happy people overseas.  The only thing devil O’Neill had to do to bring all this “development” was let Exxon Mobil, Oil Search and Interoil do whatever they wanted. He lets foreign investors declare no profits every year, pay no taxes, then send as much money out of PNG as they want.  No hard work involved allowing any of that.  But the resulting national debt and flood of money out of PNG now threatens the kina.  The Bank of PNG is artificially propping it up but don’t have the foreign currency reserves to stay with that strategy for long.   The devil’s supporters either close their eyes or are ignorant to why the kina collapsed under Bill Skate, back when Peter O’Neill was stealing from NPF.

Some social media channels would like everyone to believe that our PNG devil has no support.  Yet the devil and his supporters point proudly to the people rallying behind the devil to show their commitment to him and the Government. They don't want to lose this devil that has given so many presents to the people.

A reader’s comment on pngblogs yesterday noted that Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini, fascist leaders against humanity during World War II, brought big development to their countries.   Most wasn’t their doings but that didn’t stop them from taking all the credit just like O’Neill does.  Fortunately for humanity, history judges leaders first on their ethics and secondly on the development they bring.  Evilness does not escape notice.

Supporters of the devil will usually admit that the devil might not be very nice but they’ll strongly argue that at least the devil gets things done.

Maybe so.  But there is no argument that Peter O’Neill has never given the people of PNG a clear explanation on exactly how he got off the hook in the NPF saga when there was clear paper evidence against him.

There is no argument that:

*  Peter O’Neill illegally, blatantly ignored the highest Court of the land in order to depose PM Michael Somare.

* the 2007 election had unprecedented irregularities ranging from the almost laughable voter roll fiasco, to the ballot box stuffing or emptying in different elections and of course, the hundreds of milions of kina of free lollies delivered thanks to the K500 in borrowed money.

*  until yesterday, Peter O’Neill did nothing to explain why he seemed to be doing absolutely nothing to stop the unprecedented grab of over 10% of all of PNG’s lands through the SABL process, with all the timber being cut on that land generating not one toea for the government or the local landowners.

*  Peter O’Neill dragged his feet endlessly about the scandal of Paul Paraka and the stolen hundreds of millions of kina that O’Neill was involved with as Finance Minister under Somare.

*  Peter O'Neill, as a castaway bastard child growing up in Goroka, sent the PNG University of Technology into a year of chaos in order to help ex-Chancellor Philip Stagg, his corrupt Goroka schoolmate of years past.

* Peter O’Neill loves living on borrowed money to the point that the exploding national debt now threatens the value of the kina.  He started with the K6 billion Chinese government LOAN (not foreign aid!) that was supposed to be used to build permanent rural roads but has been mostly diverted to Moresby.

Yes, there are no arguments to be made against these and many more sins of our PNG devil.
The devil’s supporters also can’t argue that Peter O’Neill has worked for truth and justice.   Right now he’s working overtime on his endless legal delay tactics to keep the truth from coming out on his relationship with Paul Paraka and the stolen hundreds of millions.    Peter O’Neill, the devil in disguise, has tried to circumvent justice since at least the days of his NPF embezzlements.

We will never see real justice under the devil.  We will only see justice in PNG when:

*  the devil stops playing games with the rural people of this country with his deceptive FREE EDUCATION and FREE HEALTH programmes that so far have created zero improvement in literacy or mortality rates.

*  the Ombudsman and ICAC get the huge funding increase they need to get the job done.

*  Peter O’Neill stops blocking the very anti-corruption task force whose accomplishments have been published repeatedly in the newspapers, and who Peter O’Neill repeatedly praised until yesterday.  The devil promised that he would be accountable to their investigations just like anyone.  Now the devil suddenly says the Task Force has become political and has disbanded them!

We will only see justice when the people of PNG stop acting like the simple minded female bird of paradise so easily blinded by the male’s colourful feathers and deafened by his wah wah wah cries of enticement.  Our PNG devil Peter O’Neill wah wah wahs DEVELOPMENT!  FREE HEALTH!  FREE EDUCATION! slogans.  The simple minded are fooled.

Peter O’Neill is the devil in disguise.  If you look past the lollies and peer into his soul, you’ll find a ruthless, womanising, alcoholic who has never stopped looking for ways to increase his own personal wealth. Peter O’Neill’s soul is permeated by lust and greed.   He is evil. And ignorant or equally devilish people will continue to support him.

Arise O Ye Sons Of This Land!  Educated, hardworking, honest Papua New Guineans who have a brain, join together and free ourselves of this devil!

Paul Tiensten can now argue his sentence in court. Of course the PM Peter O’Neil and his cabinet seem to be telling the people of PNG and the world that Paula Tiensten was wrongly accused and convicted because Task Force Sweep was being systematically corrupted, heavily compromised and politicised.

Peter O’Neill and his government have created Task Force Sweep to fight against corruption. Now Peter O’Neill and his cabinet have disbanded Task Force Sweep because the PM is implicated by the Task Force Sweep with new evidences in the alleged fraudulent payment of K71.8 million to Paul Paraka Lawyers. The PM and his cabinet ministers are accusing Task Force Sweep of being systematically corrupted, heavily compromised and politicised.

The people of PNG must now come to realise that the actions of this government of O’Neill-Dion are becoming a grave concern and a serious threat to the very survival of this country because they seem to want a certain outcome of every investigations conducted into serious corruption allegations in the country. They seem to want the outcome to be in their favour, not according to the rule of the laws of this land.

In the first place, the O’Neill-Dion government has established Task Force Sweep. Now the O’Neill-Dion government is disbanding Task Force Sweep, blaming it as being systematically corrupted, heavily compromised and politicised because the outcome of the investigation conducted into the alleged payment of K71.8 million to Paul Paraka Lawyers is not what they wanted. All alone, perhaps they wanted the PM to be free but instead the PM is now seriously implicated with new overwhelming evidences of the PM’s involvement in the Paul Paraka Saga.

If it’s true that Task Force Sweep was being systematically corrupted, heavily compromised and politicised, then there is perhaps no else except the O’Neil-Dion Government.

Paul Tiensten must now be immediately release from the prison to appeal his sentence before the courts because the O’Neill-Dion Government has systematically corrupted, heavily compromised and politicised the outcome of the case. All other cases that are before the courts or pending investigations, their files must now be destroyed completely.

How can we, for the sake of one man and his government, subject this country to extreme dangerous precedents?

IF YOU CARE ABOUT THIS COUNTRY, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT, TALK IS CHEAP, PNG LETS MOVE

ATTORNEY GENERAL ANO PALA & PM'S LAWYER TIFFANY NONGGOR & PAUL MAWA FACING SIMILAR CHARGES ON ALLEGATIONS FOR PERVERTING THE COURSE OF JUSTICE
By Bryan Kramer

So what does this mean?

Perverting (interfering) with the course of justice is a criminal offence under Section 128 of the Criminal Code.
"A person who conspires with another to obstruct, prevent, pervert, or defeat the course of justice is guilty of a crime. Penalty: Imprisonment for a term not exceeding seven years."

To recap events

1) Police serve warrants of arrest on PM over allegations of misappropriation and corruption in office in relation him unlawfully authorising K71.8m payments to Paraka Lawyers . Police advise him to contact his lawyer and make himself available for questioning at Fraud Squad Office between 11am or 1pm. The arrests were initiated by Task Force Sweep and approved by Kulunga Commissioner of Police.

2) PM refused to be interviewed and to avoid arrest hides out in Parliament House seeking protection under Parliamentary Privileges. He instructs his lawyers to rush to National Court to file an urgent application for a stay order preventing police from arresting him. His lawyer Tiffany Nonggorr and assisted by Paul Mawa prepare an urgent application and rush to the National Court late Monday afternoon to find a Judge willing to hear the application. Judge Ere Kariko said he would hear the matter tomorrow at 10.30 in the morning."

3) The PM's Peoples' National Congress Party issue press statement by PM 10pm Monday even on their website and social media and claim PM has obtained an stay order from the Judge.
......"I am the Prime Minister, and this is how it will stay while we address this politically motivated arrest warrants by influenced Police Officers. We will continue our great on-going work for the country and continue our delivery of services to the people of PNG." The arrest warrant as confirmed by the Prime Minister Hon. Peter O'Neill has been stayed by the National Courts of PNG. The Prime Minister Hon. Peter O'Neill will issue further and more detailed statements tomorrow"
This was a false statement No such stay order was obtained.

4) Same evening PM chairs NEC retires/sacks Kulunga as Police Commissioner and appoints Geoffrey Vaki as Acting Commissioner.

5) Tuesday Morning Court hears Stay Application by PM. Police Lawyer Nicholas Niviri also makes appearance for the Police to argue against the Stay Order. Police lawyer serve Sam Koim affidavit on PM Lawyer because of late service Tiffany Nonggor seeks adjournment to first study the affidavit. Judge adjourns hearing until next day.

6) Tuesday afternoon PM sacks Kerenga Kua (NA) the Attorney General (Minister for Justice) and appoints Ano Pala (PNC). Pala instructions Acting Police Commissioner Vaki to sideline Police Lawyer Niviri and engage private law Paul Mawa to represent Police. Instructions to no longer oppose support Police interest but instead consent (agree) to PM's application for a stay order preventing his arrest.

7) Wednesday morning Mawa in court claiming to be appointed by Acting Police Commissioner on the instructions of the Attorney General Ano Pala.

8) Police Lawyer disputes Mawa's appointment. Court has no choice but accept Mawa as duly appointed lawyer based on the proper authority of the Police Commissioner who is head of Police and new Attorney General who is charge of legal officers on behalf of the State.

9) Mawa instead of supporting the Police to arrest the PM instead moves motion to support the PM's stay application hoping judge will have accept it. Judge rejects his motion. Rather than parties make submissions (arguments) and judge rule on the application the same day. Mawa to avoid a ruling against on PM stay application seeks an adjournment claiming he needs time to review the file to properly advise his client. In the interest of fairness Judge has no option but to agree and adjourns the case until Wednesday next week. In the end PM got what he wanted delay in his arrest.

10) Following court hearing Acting Police Commissioner is arrested on the instructions from Deputy Police Commissioner for Simon Kaupa for perverting the course of justice when he gave instructions to sideline Police Lawyer and appoint new private lawyer that was serving the interest of the accused being the Prime Minister in preventing his arrest.

11) This is a serious offence the penalty being up to seven years in prison. The evidence is on court record so it will be beyond dispute. Unlike contempt of court which is summary offence, perverting the course of justice is a criminal offence and there will be no bail after sentencing. Given the Courts are not playing around on the issue of corruption if convicted the sentence is likely to be severe between 5-6 years. All those that conspired in the offence will be liable for the same offence. This is why Police are now investigating those involved Ano Pala for his part in instructing Vaki to appoint Mawa, Vaki for engaging Mawa with instructions to support application. Tiffany Nonggor if they can prove she had knowledge of the plan and provided advice to facilitate it. If Pala is arrested and charged and claims he was acting on the PM's instructions then the PM will be also liable to face the same charges.

Today the Acting Police Commissioner flanked by Deputy Commissioner Sete and Andrews issued a press statement that the Force will pursue investigations without fear or favour. In the meantime Assistant Commissioner for Police Eluh will continue investigations into Pala, Nonggor and Mawa.

Changed Person Speaking Change will effect change in PNG

Change means one has to instil in himself/herself the priceless attributes of respect, honesty, love, obedience, acumen, genuine generosity (Giving to people in need without any strings attached) and humbleness.  The unchanged will obviously  value himself/herself more than others  and his/her life will be riddled with  deceitfulness, disrespect,  jealousy, hate, enviousness, narrow-minded and love for money (root of all evils) to name a few.

This is true with many people in the top echelon of both Private and Public organisations to the people from the grass roots level. Their words of change directed to people would dissipate into thin air and never materialize because there is no substance (Power) in their words. The contrary is true as the words of change from a changed person emanates from the bottom of his/her heart and there is power in it to effect change. Many people are being kept in oblivion of the essence of commanding change with a changed heart.

Changed people who could fully realize the beauty of the power in their words for change are Falling Prey to the disastrous culture of ‘money does the talking.’ Politicians, the top bureaucrats in Government and every other influential person is conforming to the strong perception of ‘money does the talking.’  The symptom of many changed people infected with this cancerous diseases is the rampant increase in corruption this Nation is experiencing.

It’s obviously seen that Changed People are more susceptible to fall to the culture of ‘money does the talking’ as more good people when in Positions of Trust becoming overnight millionaires. It’s becoming a norm that people accumulate wealth to buy their way into Positions that implement change but change is not realized as it should be.  Buying Positions of Change Implementer is definitely instilling an attitude of competition towards accumulating of wealth among known rivalries.

To exemplify let me share this; having knowledge of the generating of handsome income by Spirit of Hela to its owners (Politicians) is causing many people in the elevated circles to be hell-bent on trying anything at the cost of the aforementioned invaluable attributes to stay on equal footing or even emulate them in terms of income generating. (The Spirit of Hela is the Ship that just began Transporting Liquefied Natural Gas to Asian Markets).   On the other hand, to own Spirit of Hela the owners may have a taken a similar course the others are trying to take. Let us come out of this culture and change ourselves for a change.

As such, many people who speak change are wasting their breath as they themselves are not changed. To realize change by speaking change one has to change. Let us stop the business of shifting blames by Pointing Fingers to each other and an individual needs to change as change in one produces a rippling effect.

Prime Minister Peter O'Neill in Contempt of Court

$

By PNGBLOGS Contributor Network

On behalf of concerned citizens of this great nation, our collective views for the current stand-off between the Prime Minister Peter O’Neill, his executive government, and the Royal PNG Constabulary leadership are these:

1. The "consent" order to stay the warrant of arrest by acting Police Commissioner for the Prime Minister Peter O’Neill does not have merit. The police leadership in PNG did not consent with the "stay orders." Mr. Jeffery Vaki has been out of the police force for many years battling his dismissal case in the court of law. The executive government's last minute appointee’s decision to “consent” is a clear obstruction of justice, i.e., the normal process and police work for an alleged crime, hence, contempt of court.

2. The order issued by former Police Commissioner Tom Kulunga to arrest PM Peter O’Neill remains in force and intent. The Police Leadership (rank and file) and its Fraud Squad Officers will not buy into anyone’s conspiracy to deter the normal work of police to arrest the PM. The court decision on Wednesday, the 29th of June, 2014, is crucial for the Police Fraud Squad. They are determined to arrest the PM, unless, otherwise, the court prevents them from carrying out the order, i.e. in a very uncompromising circumstantial evidence against it. Furthermore, if the PM does not voluntarily hands himself to the Police Fraud Squad, the implications will have havoc on our economy and many interests will be at stake. The Speaker of Parliament must not allow the PM to take refuge in the premises of the Parliament using the privileges of the Parliament to escape arrest. The Speaker must use his powers to remove him from the Parliament and have the police arrest him.

3. The PM's sacking of Attorney General Kerenga Kua is also a blatant contempt of court. The "stay order" for the arrest of the PM is before the National Court Judge. The dumping and changing of the Attorney General has implications on the outcome of the court decision. Until this legitimate court (National Court) makes the final decision, the AG's office must not be used to galvanize the attempts by the institutions of law, or the rule of law to punish offenders of the law.

4. The appointments of new AG Ano Pala and new police lawyer Paul Mawa is also a blatant contempt of court. While the sitting Judge gave partial approval, the case has not been decided. It is before the courts. The Police Fraud Squad Officers have not gone to arrest the PM, with respect to the court injunction sought by the PM's legal team and the Judge's advice. Any change of the appointments by the executive government is purely contempt of court. Lawyer Paul Mawa and AG Minister Pala will be arrested soon after the Judge makes his ruling. They will be held liable for any misconceptions brought before the judge, and the implications on the civil society.

5. The disbanding of the TFST headed by Sam Koim is also a blatant contempt of court. Sam Koim's team has corroborating and credible evidences to validate and support the prosecution of the PM. The executive government's decision to decommission Koim and disband the TFST team is purely the work of conspiracy to pre-empt the decision of the court.

6. The decommissioning of Deputy Police Commissioner, Simon Kauba was primarily done to relegate and divide the Police force. Under statutory constabulary laws, Kauba is still the Deputy Commissioner Operations. Until the decision is made by the courts, the decommissioning of Kauba cannot be effected. This rush decision by the executive government is to prevent the possible prosecution of the PM, and while the case is before the Judge, by the operations of the law, it is considered contempt of court.

7. The Commission of Inquiry announced by the PM for the Parakagate Saga stands in contempt of Court as well. A new government can set up that inquiry or pursue the case in the court of law, apart from the present executive government led by Peter O’Neill. He is implicated in the scandal, and he must not lead others to believe he is immune from prosecution. A new government must delve on the famed scandal involving high profile office holders. However, our past experience of COI has a questionable and dragging track record. The general public does not have confidence in several COI's the government had instituted. So what guarantee do the people have in such COI when perpetrators are not brought to justice?

8. The proceeds of the crime of Paul Paraka have exchanged hands. Bank documents allegedly reveal that the PM, his ministers, and others were handsomely rewarded with commissions from this alleged theft (Investigations are still going on as we write). Paraka had deposited substantial amounts of money in few operating accounts with the bank of South Pacific, Port Moresby branch. These operating accounts have different names, but it appears that these names could be related to the families of the political figures involved in the saga. Furthermore, some of the proceeds of this theft have been siphoned to Australia. Investigations are still underway.

9. The investigations into the Parakagate Scandal are now in the advanced stages. Those who benefited from the proceeds of this theft of public monies are likely to be prosecuted. Obviously, the writing is on the wall for Peter O’Neill to be tried in the court of law for his part in the signing of the letter to effect the process of payment, despite his denial benefiting from it, or perhaps the denial of the authenticity of his signature.

10. A credible international organization that specializes in fraud and related forensic tests in Sydney, Australia has plainly revealed that the "signature" in the "letter" is Peter O’Neill’s signature. This evidence puts to rest the PM's public denial of signing the letter, or his allegations of forgery of his signature. This credible evidence will be presented in the court of law when the full trial gets underway. In the meantime, he must surrender himself unconditionally to the Fraud Squad for questioning.

11. The recent attempts by Finance Minister James Marape to legalize the payments done to Paul Paraka in the court are contrary to the oaths PM Peter O’Neill declared under several stages of the case. Marape's legal team has presented the case before the courts. Apparently, to validate this illegal payment is to bring into disrepute the office of the Prime Minister, because the PM had lied under oath to the Parliament, the press, and in the public appearances in many instances. The implications are obvious. This government is desperate to hold onto power. How could someone who claims himself a credible "Christian" leader in one of the leading Christian denominations in PNG LIED to God and the citizens of the country in this legal battle? Tell the truth! Make amends. This country is bigger than Peter O'Neill and James Marape.

Conclusion

We call on the unconditional surrender of Peter O'Neill to the Police Fraud Squad for formal interview and laying of charges against the alleged crime. We also call on James Marape and others who have conspired to defraud the state to turn themselves in to the Police Fraud Squad for formal interview as well. O'Neill, Marape, and their legal team can fight that allegation in the court of law to prove their innocence.

Also, we call on the judge (s), or the courts who are administering this case to be impartial in this grand case. We look for the court (Judge) to dispense justice, where fairness and hearing in the case will be given. Every people, including the government, opposition and the general public are eagerly waiting for a fair decision next week, Wednesday the 29th June, 2014.

We envision that the miscarriage of justice will have widespread repercussions. The interest of the nation must be put first, because we fear that there will be civil unrest in this grand case.

THE FUTURE: PNG UNDER PETER O'NEILL POST JUNE 2014.

PETER O'NEILL'S BUSINESS INTEREST AND FRAUD IS EXPOSED

PNG has entered a new phase in politics and public administration under Peter O'Neill as Prime Minister post-June 2014. The nation and individuals may or may not realize this fact but that is exactly where we are at. The recent changes in public administration and Ministerial reshuffles signal this change. It began with the sacking of William Duma as Petroleum Minister and Don Polye as Treasurer. Both these men stood in the way of Peter O'Neill achieving his secret ambition, to become the first multi-billionaire in PNG and the Pacific.

He has never been content with the Tens of Millions of Kina kick-backs he was receiving from major road and civil construction contractors. He was not content with directing government business to his Remington Group of companies, which includes the following businesses- Remington Office Supplies, RIFL ( Merchant Bank/Finance company), Insurance Partners, Paddy's Hotel, South West Air, Black Swan Security Contractor, and an Oil & Gas Contracting company operating in the Southern Highlands, Gulf and Western Provinces. Peter O'Neill has other companies which he operates in conjunction with or under other people, where other people hold his interests. For example his interests in L& A Brick Layers are held by the Cragnolinis, and his interests in the Pacific International Hospital and associated businesses are held by a shadowy character called Mohamed Sultan. He has numerous other interests that are held by a strong web of trusted friends.

His funds overseas are held in Singapore, Hong Kong and in Tax Havens under bearer stock. Some of his commission of the UBS deal was paid to a Singapore Account. The balance was paid through third party agents and into Tax Havens. All the wealth that Peter O'Neill has amassed over the last 12 years has been done while he was a Member of Parliament under a Parliamentary taxable salary of K3000 per fortnight. It was done while he was reporting his business interests publicly to the Ombudsman Commission. ( It is quite doubtful that he has been at all candid). I am sure he has not reported that as soon as the State took over Oktedi Mine, he directed his own company Black Swan to be the only major security contractor in
Ok Tedi, which is well over K150 Million per annum contract. The expat partner in Black Swan knows the details.

I am sure O'Neill has not reported that his interest in Insurance Partners is held in trust by his Chief Accountant in Remington Group. (Logically, you would think the lowly salaried accountant would be a rich guy about town. Insurance Partners makes enough profit each year (in the millions) for such an accountant with 40% stake, to sit back and enjoy his dividends, why should he labour hard at Remington- unless, of course, the 40% stake does not belong to him!). ONeill’s interest in L&A Brick Layers is an open secret, but it has not been accounted for and he has not disclosed it to the ombudsman, whilst L&A Bricklayers enjoy unimaginable financial favours from the O'Neill Government including contracts to tear down carvings and renovate Parliament at inflated contract price, awarding of untended contract worth hundreds of Millions of Kina to renovate Mourata Haus- extended to Pineapple building and Central Government Buildings, his shareholding and interest is held by Mrs Nee Cragnolini.

O'Neill has been paid hundreds of Mil lions of Kina by civil contractors like China Rail, Dekenai, Hebou, China Harbour, Global, etc  collected through henchmen or paid off-shore. Normally, O'Neill knows what the bid price of the likely candidates and he asks them to inflate it by his share. An example is the Lae-Nadzab road. Only inflated it by over K200 Million, which was his share. You would think with this intricate web of interests held by other people, illicit payments he extracts, and a business empire already pushing the billion Kina limit, Mr O'Neill would be satisfied. But No, he had to push the envelope further. He decided to go for the big one in the UBS transaction. Now that’s greed at another level altogether! That’s greed gone crazy! On huge cattle farms in the Ramu Valley at the old Bruce Jepcott’s farm, as a youngster growing up in the valley, I used to observe an interesting micro-ecosystem that involved leeches and ticks feeding off the blood of the cattle. Then you saw half a dozen sparrows appearing to be taking a free ride on the back of a cow. What they were really doing was picking off the little blood suckers for lunch, but unknowingly they were making sure the parasites did not kill the cow.

So what is life under Peter O'Neill going to be like after June 2014? If you look to history so far of Peter ONeill’s reign, he doesn’t give any sector of the PNG economy any comfort. Okay O'Neill did an under the table deal with Solwara 1 Project and got paid in the millions and millions more when it is properly licensed (His Environment Minister John “Pretender” Pundari also got paid off but we won’t go there now). That is one industry with uncertain economic implications on our rich tuna and pelagic fishery, and O'Neill cant be on a winner approving that project. ONeill’s history as Chief Advisor and to Right Hand man with Bill Skate as Prime Minister saw this country robbed blind, and they left the economy in tatters. Other subsequent Prime Minister’s have re-built the economy. (The only comfort we can take from Skates era is that Bill was Prime Minister but he really didn’t know how to steal!).

The answer to the above question of life after June 2014 is very clear to me. Peter O'Neill is a parasite, but is not a good parasite. He is an extremely greedy and ambitious parasite. His greed is killing the host. The nation i s already feeling the effects of Peter ONeill’s personal ambition to be a multi-Billionaire at the expense of the 8 million people of PNG in taking out the UBS loan. The merits and demerits of the UBS loan have been sufficiently aired in the media and the overwhelming consensus by all learned economists and experts is that it was an unnecessary and stupid loan, a loan that PNG did not need. ( If you have
time read Dr Patrick Onguglo’s article on this blog on how O'Neill benefited personally).

Allow me to re-cap:

1. Peter O'Neill decided to borrow USD$1.3 Billion from the UBS Bank of Switzerland (same bank that Pius Wingti did the Ragianna deal with).

2. The Loan proceeds of $930 million (approx.) was used to buy 10% of Oil Search shares.

3. Oil search used the share sale proceeds to buy 40% of Interoil’s Elk-Entelope Project.

4. Peter O'Neill pledged a State’s 19% freely owned interest in the LNG Project to UBS ,along with an over-all Sovereign Guarantee pledging all the assets of the State. It goes without saying too that UBS is also holding the share-scripts of the 10% shares O'Neill bought in Oil search.

5. Peter O'Neill did all this without Cabinet approval of Parliamentary approval as required by law. He later sought Cabinet ratification.

6. Peter O'Neill took 19% unencumbered shares of this country in the LNG Project, 19% unencumbered immediate income flow for our gas being exported, and gave that to UBS for ONLY---LISTEN HERE PNG…ONLY 10% of Oil search shares. He has given away our cash income (supposed to be flowing in 2014) for a miserable 10% shares in a company that may or may not declare a dividend! How stupid is that?

7. Peter O'Neill benefited to the tune of USD300 Million (Over K1.2 Billion).

The effects of this stupid decision by one greedy man are beginning to show:

1. Peter O'Neill has borrowed against World Bank & IMF guidelines, and these institutions are very very concerned about the future of our economy. Our Moody's rating has dropped to level never before seen, except during Bill Skate's time.

2. O'Neill has put pressure on our balance of payments and our foreign reserves. We have used up our foreign reserves in interest payments on the UBS loan- which is in hundreds of millions. Now there is barely cover at Bank of PNG to cover 2 weeks trading.

3. The lack of foreign currency availability is driving so many businesses under at the moment. All foreign invoices have been delayed, but for how long? Soon the trading Houses have to cease business.

4. Normal family remittances for foreign workers to their families overseas is almost impossible with restriction by central bank to limit and cap such currency transfers.

5. The exchange rate has fallen, the kina has nose-dived, but is being temporarily and artificially propped up by the Central Bank under direct instructions from O'Neill.

6. When the reality settles in, the people will realize whats going on when the food shelves in the supermarkets get empty, the exchange rate drops to new low, you need more kina to buy the same packet of rice. This will put pressure on wages-(which has already been happening but no one has taken it up yet) of the lower wage earners and public servants on fixed wages.

7. Ok Tedi is not going to produce as much as was projected in the 2014 National Budget. This is already putting its own pressure on the State.

8. Corruption is already on the increase with O'Neill himself lying about not signing the Paul Paraka letter.O'Neill is the Prime Minister of the country. The person holding the highest office in the land ought to be above reproach. He has brought the Office of Prime Minister into disrepute.

9. Why did Peter O'Neill lie? The answer is very simple. He wanted to hang Polye and Marabe, for having made an improper payment. This was his way of getting rid politically these two men who looked smart enough to be a threat to him.

10. Recently, ONeill’s lawyers were arguing in court, the Paul Paraka Bills were legitimate, the approval letter of the PM (after forensic experts in Australia have confirmed that was Oneal's own signature) and the payments by the State were legitimate, therefore, the Prime Minister’s arrest warrant is illegal. This begs the question? Why did the PM lie to Parliament and the nation?

11. The disbanding of Task Force Sweep and compromising the top ranks of the Police Force, leaves two (2) institutions of the State to determine the future of this nation- the Judiciary and the Ombudsman Commission.

12. The people watch and wait with baited breath which way the Chief Ombudsman is going to go. We know Mr Lua was a good friend of O'Neill during his Public Service Commission days. Mr Lua was appointed Chairman of PSC by Mr O'Neill as then Public Service Minister under Somare. Mr Lua was ONeill’s choice to be Chief Ombudsman. The question of whether he will discharge his constitutional duties without fear or favour is yet to be seen. Or will he walk the same road of corruption?

13. The Judiciary is a troublesome one. No government in the history of this country has threatened and compromised the Judiciary to the extent the O'Neill-Nama, and now this O'Neill-Dion government, has. The judiciary has taken it all in its stride and soldiered on discharging its duties under the Constitution. The Chief Justice stood firm despite personal attacks and threats of physical violence by the O'Neill government. Rumors abound of Judges being bought off by big money being carried around at night by the Prime Minister and his henchmen.

14. The Challenge is now in the hands of the Judiciary and the Ombudsman to do their lawful duties. The Courts must discharge justice according to law, without fear or favour, or this country has gone to the dogs. Some of the Judges behave as though they dispense justice from an ivory tower divorced from the realities facing our people. The contrary is true, and they must realize they play an important role in the common welfare of our people and our nation. They must put personal tribal and other interests aside as that is what they swore before God to do.

15. It is clear that Peter O'Neill will not stop at anything or anyone. He will remove or compromise any State institution or Constitutional Officer who stands independently to discharge his duties under the Constitution, that will have the effect of holding him and his cronies to account. He has already demonstrated this toward the Judiciary and recently with Task Force Sweep.

Ordinary citizens must be prepared to take to the streets, stop work, and show your disgust and displeasure publicly on what is going on. Come on PNG, we must not tolerate these thieves. Enough is enough!

A personal perspective on latest political developments from a man in forced 'expatriate exile' who knows Peter O'Neill well

Despite all the anger, and the fear and anxiety that is being expressed on social media, on the street, everywhere that Papua New Guineans are gathering, I believe there is room for quiet confidence that the days of the most corrupt Prime Minister in the nation's history are numbered.

Watching and listening from my expatriate exile in Australia, it seems to me there are a number of factors at play that point to the Prime Minister's demise.

The first is that it is clear that the police and the judiciary are doing their job (with a few minor hiccups caused by the Prime Minister in an attempt to pervert the course of justice).
I sense a deep anger in the Royal Papua New Guinea Constabulary at the way the Prime Minister has tried to use them, and an equally strong commitment to see that the law takes its course through the exercise of their constitutional duties.

The last-minute appointment of a new police commissioner has added fuel to the fire. Some police are talking about trying to charge more NEC members with conspiracy to pervert the course of justice - a pointless and dangerous exercise, but nevertheless reflective of the anger in the force.
The sacking of the RPNGC lawyer by the new Attorney-General has also only made matters worse for the Prime Minister. Mr Nicholas Miviri, is a serving police officer with the rank of Superintendent, and he has been replaced by a civilian. Miviri is an accomplished and respected lawyer, having also served as a Public Prosecutor.

The court hearings themselves are also an indicator that all is not going well for the Prime Minister's lawyers, especially Judge Kariko's comments on why there should be a stay order against perfectly legitimate warrants.

The talk amongst private lawyers is that come the 25th, the Prime Minister's case is likely to be thrown out, possibly as an abuse of process because of the grounds on which it is being argued.
As well, a number of actions ordered or orchestrated by the Prime Minister are likely to be found in contempt of court.

The Prime Minister has no friends in the judiciary, as everyone knows, and his possible courses of action in the courts are extremely limited and all are likely to be counter-productive.
Nor will the decision to sack Kerenge Kua have helped his cause. Kua is an NA strongman politically mentored by Sir Michael Somare. And Somare and NA have VERY close links to the highest levels of the judiciary.

Nor does the Prime Minister have any genuine friends in politics. One or two might stand by him as he dies a miserable political death, but that will only be so they inherit the leadership of PNC. And they should be aware that this may in itself be a poisoned chalice.
The rest will stand there smiling, with their left hands out and their right hands behind their backs holding daggers just airing for the right moment.

Smiling might not be the right word. Youtube videos of EMTV news show some pretty strained smiles - grimaces, really. A more uncomfortable lot I have never seen.
Ministerial sackings and party reshuffling have been a feature of the demise of a range of Prime Ministers, and there is no reason to believe that this time around is any different.

It won't be long before all those smiles grow teeth and start biting the hand that is feeding them.
Furthermore, there have been rumblings amongst some politicians that the Prime Minister has been too greedy - for example the estimated K500 million scammed out of the illegal and corrupt Oil Search/Elk-Antelope/UBS deal is still sitting in a secret bank account in Hong Kong rather than being shared around.
Of course that may have changed in the last few days given the strength of rumours about planeloads of cash coming in from the Highlands and elsewhere.

Conversations with public servants else tend to confirm that they are growing angrier and more frustrated by the day, and some may well join in protests planned for the coming days (pending police permission), or may at the very least down tools and stay at home.

Commentary on social media, which the Prime Minister is desperately trying to muzzle, has moved from being evenly divided about him earlier this year to totally opposed.

Although social media provides absolutely NO real measure of the depth and spread of opposition to the Prime Minister in broader society, the rapid growth in attacks and the silence of even his most ardent trolls andy trolettes is telling.

A notable feature of social commentary is the questions about the Defence Force. It should be clear that although the Prime Minister has used his unrivalled talent for nepotism in this arena too, it has been to no avail. The Defence Force, like the Police, will do its Constitutional duty once again (with the possible exception of a few in Taurama Barracks).

The overwhelming majority will listen to wise heads and former colleagues like Jerry Singirok and Belden Namah. All this is not to say that the Prime Minister doesn't have any tricks up his sleeve, and that he is without some options.

His problem is that the longer he hides like a cornered rat in Parliament House, and the more he resorts to extreme measures, the worse his position will become.

A permanent all expenses paid room in the BomBom Grand looms.

Given that this is the man who illegally deported me, I have some bias. But I hope that my more distant perspective from expat exile in Australia counteracts that.

Lau egu bese, bona varavaras, lain bilong mi, I hope I won't have to wait much longer to see you.
I have faith in ordinary Papua New Guineans and the resilience of Papua New Guinea as a nation.

MEDIA STATEMENT

The Member for Kandep Hon. Don Pomb Polye at 3.45pm today voluntarily surrendered himself to the National Fraud & Anti Corruption Office at Konedobu, National Capital District to be interviewed over the illegal payment of K71 million to Paul Paraka Lawyers.

Present to receive him for the record of interview were Assistant Commissioner Crimes Thomas Eluh and Director National Fraud & Anti Corruption Chief Superintendent Mathew Damaru. The interview was suspended at 5pm to Monday June 23 to allow Mr Polye time to arrange a lawyer for himself.

In other developments Police are now searching for Abau MP and Justice and Attorney Minister Ano Pala for two counts of contempt and perverting the cause of justice.
“We believe Mr Pala’s instruction to disengage our police lawyer and engage the services of Paul Mawa lawyers who agreed to consent to the Prime Minister’s application to restrain police from arresting the Prime Minister is an obstruction of justice,” ACP Eluh said.
“We had earlier charged Geoffrey Vaki for two counts of abuse of office and perverting the course of justice. The investigation is still continuing and there could be further charges. We are also assessing whether lawyers Paul Mawa and Tiffany Twivey should be brought in for questioning as well,” Mr Eluh said.
“For the record, let me state that no-one is above the law. It is our duty as police officers to uphold the rule of law which is supreme without fear or favour.
“Whilst maintaining our stand that we will respect the rule of law, and respect the temporary court restraint, I want to again appeal to our Prime Minister to voluntarily make himself available to our fraud investigators to be interviewed in relation to the illegal payment of K71 million to Paul Paraka Lawyers. Everyone is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law and it is on that basis that we humbly request Prime Minister O’Neill to come in.
“Our criminal justice system hangs in the balance. As a leader he must respect our laws and lead by example. The people of Papua New Guinea and the world are watching closely.
“Let me reassure the people of Papua New Guinea and the world that the wheels of justice have been set in motion and will not stop until Prime Minister O’Neill comes in for the interview.
“Contrary to statements released by Prime Minister O’Neill, there are no hidden motives, nor has the Constabulary or its members compromised.

Here are the facts as they unfolded:

1. May 05, Chairman of the Investigating Task Force Sweep Sam Koim wrote to Commissioner of Police Toami Kulunga highlighting the existence of a second letter purportedly from Prime Minister O’Neill which makes reference to the first letter;
2. Commissioner Kulunga then assembled a team of four investigators including myself to examine the documents before us;
3. As this matter related to our Prime Minister we took almost a month to examine the documents and convinced with our findings informed the Commissioner that the Prime Minister must be interviewed;
4. A warrant was obtained from the Chief Magistrate on June 12. However, due to the Commissioner’s engagement in court over his contempt case we could not get the invitation letter signed until June 16;
5. Since the warrant was served on the PM he has shown absolute contempt of the warrant (a court order) and resistance;
6. The Prime Minister continues to brand all state agencies, as politically
corrupt. In his Affidavit to the Court and through his lawyer, he has branded the officers who instituted the criminal process as rogue police officers. I am not a rogue officer.

I am the Assistant Commissioner in charge of the Crimes Directorate. I am a career police officer with over 40 years experience as a police detective and prosecutor.
“Various questions have been raised also by members of the public as well as the esteemed leaders which I feel need to be explained as well:
Why was a warrant of arrest taken out against the PM instead of inviting him for an interview?
“It is a requirement of law under section 87(2) of the Criminal Code that a person cannot be arrested for the offence of official corruption without a warrant.”
Why did we not officially write to the PM and give him time to turn up for an interview?
“The warrant of arrest is a court order ordering police to effect arrest on sight. We did not do that because we respected the office of the Prime Minister and instead allowed him to come at 11am or 1pm that day.”
Why didn't we serve the warrant at Parliament House instead of meeting him outside of the office?
“We could not serve the warrant on the PM at his office at Parliament House because section 14 of the Parliamentary Powers and Privileges Act makes it an offence to serve a warrant within the precincts of Parliament. Besides, he was not served on the street but at the Remington office at Konedobu.”
Did we harass the PM when serving the warrant?
“No we did not harass the Prime Minister when serving the warrant. All due respect and protocol was accorded to the Prime Minister. There were only three people involved in serving him the warrant including myself. We did not carry any weapons or engaged additional man power. As far as we are concerned, we have complied with all the laws and due processes, from the investigation all the way to the service of the warrant and maintain that we accorded the respect to him as the Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea.
“However, instead of fronting up for interview after we served him the letter the Prime Minister locked himself up at Parliament with all the ministers and used their powers to make decisions that we believe are designed to temper with the course of justice. The following are some instances:
· On 16th June, immediately after PM O'Neill was served the warrant, he went to Parliament, conducted a NEC meeting and replaced Commissioner Kulunga, who signed the letter of invitation and installed Geoffrey Vaki as Acting Commissioner;
· On the morning of 17th June in Court, the State through the Solicitor General supported Chief Superintendent Nicholas Miviri, counsel for the Police and objected the application for Mr O'Neill to obtain a stay order against the warrant;
· On the afternoon of 17th June Mr O'Neill who we allege wanted to control the outcome of the case replaced Attorney General Kerenga Kua who was the Minister overseeing Task-Force Sweep team and the State's legal team who opposed the PM's application in Court on June 17;
· On the same afternoon of 17 June, Deputy Commissioner (Operations) Simon Kauba called on the PM to voluntarily come for the interview;
· On 18th June in Court, the State's legal team comprising of Mr Miviri, Mr Koim and Ms Jubilee Tindiwi were caught by surprise when the new Acting Police Commissioner Vaki and the new Attorney General Ano Pala instructed Paul Mawa Lawyers to appear on behalf of the Police and consent to a stay order. Acting Police Commissioner instructed Mr Paul Mawa to consent on the stay application of the warrant, basically stopping the course of justice. The instruction to consent to a stay against the constitutional functions of the Police was issued by Mr Vaki; and
· In the afternoon of 18th June, PM O'Neill used his position as Chairman of NEC to remove Deputy Commissioner Kauba and disbanded the Task-Force Sweep team.
“We believe that all the actions of the PM since the service of the warrant on him on are designed to pervert the course of justice. We also believe that all the ministers who sat in the NEC have conspired to defeat the course of justice. We are closely examining the facts with a view to charging them all with a number of charges for various offences.”

BREAKING NEWS - SACKED DEPUTY POLICE COMMISSIONER & POLICE ASSOCIATION FILES CONTEMPT CHARGES AGAINST ACTING POLICE COMMISSIONER, ATTORNEY GENERAL, POLICE MINISTER AND PM

Sacked Deputy Police Commissioner Simon Kauba has filed contempt charges in the National Court against Acting Police Commissioner Geoffrey Vaki, Attorney General Ano Pala, Police Minister Robert Atifaya and the Prime Minister Peter O'Neill for their part in perverting the course of justice and violating the National Court orders.

The contempt charges relate to the PM and NEC's decision to interfere pervert the court of justice to influence the proceedings of the National Court when they side-lined the Police Lawyer. Following the adjournment on Tuesday the National Court ordered parties to maintain the status quo (no change).
However the PM and NEC instead sacked the Attorney General Kerenga Kua and Police Commissioner Tom Kulunga and appointed Ano Pala and Geoffrey Vaki in their place. Ano Pala then disbanded Task Force Sweep giving instructions to Vaki to sideline the Police Lawyer Nicholas Niviri engaging a private lawyer Paul Mawa to support the PM's case.

The Judge quite annoyed by the events in the court room ruled that it had taken note of contemptuous decisions of the Government in the last 48 hours and stated clearly that contempt is not ruled out."
The matter is listed for mention 1:30pm on Monday before the Chief Justice.

The man in the forefront of investigations against the Prime Minister, Assistant Commissioner Police Crimes, Thomas Eluh, has been suspended from office.

Effective as of this evening, no reasons have been given as to why Eluh was suspended.
A-C-P Eluh was served his suspension by Chief Superintendent Jerry Frank this evening, signed by Acting Deputy Police Commissioner Operations, Jim Andrews.

This is despite an order by the National Court directing that the status quo remains, in that Acting Police Commissioner, Geoffrey Vaki, should not in any way interfere with Eluh nor his team of investigators looking into the Paul Paraka case.

Mr. Eluh described his suspension as a blatant breach of the court process, adding it is a sad day for Papua New Guinea.

"This is a sad day for the Royal Papua New Guinea Constabulary and the country as a whole.
"It is to me, in my view, 'the Constabulary has been sold to the dogs'.
"People who are rich, people who are powerful are now in control of the police.
"So, this is a very sad case for the whole of our country in terms of democracy.
"And I appeal to the rest of our people, the good people I have receive information and support from, even though I am suspended, the team still continues.
"We will continue to investigate until those involved must be brought to justice.
"The suspension has not in any way stopped us from investigations. We will continue to investigate."
Meantime, Mr. Eluh has re-iterated his call for Prime Minister Peter O' Neil to go to court and clear his name instead of trying to justify himself in the media.
"What is it that is making it hard for our good Prime Minister to turn up and be answerable to the law like everybody else?

"To go to the media and try to clear himself is not the right forum.
"He needs to go to court and clear himself like everybody else.
"And here I stand, a very senior officer in almost 40 years of police service with a lot of experience, I've been suspended.
"My God! God help Papua New Guinea."

Who amongst 105+ greedy piggies will successfully buy the throne of Grand Thief II Peter O’Neill?

By Grassroots Commentator

Our first Grand Thief was Michael Somare.  He gets the credit not because he was the first PM to be a thief (that would be Julius Chan), but because he established the Grand Thief… I mean Grand Chief system, and then got himself appointed.  Grand Thief II was Peter O’Neill.    Examining the  impressive circus of morons who make up our parliament, we the people have started to debate who is likely to become Grand Thief III and further institutionalise our monarchy of corruption.

Everyone has their favorite to promote.  As more people talk, you’ll once again start smelling the  kabubu gas that characterizes politics in PNG.

The gluttonous overweight appearance of the majority of our MPs are not a reflection of long hours sitting at the desk working, but is evidence of personalities that have little self control, neither in the regulation of food intake nor money intake.  Such personalities take everything offered to them and cry for more.  They all have the starting ingredients of what it takes to make a crafty thief.

Struggling with their ballooning waistlines, our MPs show that PNG is indeed the land of opportunity to become filthy rich very quickly.  The MPs see it, the Chinese see it, all kinds of carpetbagger losers from around the world flocking to PNG also see it.   They’re clear while the common men and women in this country have their eyes focused on counting precious toea and wondering how they’re going to pay their bills.

That there are so many aspiring and wannabe businessmen who populate our parliament is not evidence of humble representatives wanting to serve the people.   It is proof that the pighouse is filled with personalities who put making a personal profit for their pockets above all other personal objectives.   Think about it. Aren’t you inclined to vote for a well dressed rich, smooth talking  businessman candidate over a humble pastor dressed in rags who is hard to hear, he speaks so quietly?   Jesus would have no chance to win against businessmen candidates in PNG!!!

Only an idiot hasn’t figured out that competitions between MPs to become Prime Minister are nothing more than money games and battles between thieves.   Out of all the bribing – I mean fighting - the most conniving or ruthless amongst the thieves rises to the top like fermenting sludge in a sewage pond.  The grand prize is not to serve the people, but to gain a fortune.   We’re getting ready for another fight, maybe this week.  And nearly all of us will cheer for our favourite thief to be the winner.

For any citizen of this country to favour one thief or another is the saddest comment of all about us and the state of the political system we support.   The system is totally broken as if it ever really worked.   It encourages a never ending cycle of vote buying, power hungry, often egomaniac candidates to jump into the ring, whether it is the ring of candidates for MP or the group of MPs clamouring to become PM.

Yet very shortly we will all join hands to protect this system so that it can select another vote buying, power hungry, possibly egomaniac MP to be our leader.   What a laugh the whole circus has become, because it not only includes parliament, but most of the rest of us!!!

Of course, none of us want to look in the mirror to see the real defect that affects our country.   It’s less personally embarrassing to blame others, so let’s go back to blaming the MPs.  Peter O’Steal, the grandest PNG thief in our history, was supported until recently by more than 105 of the pigs in the now totem-less Grand Pighouse.  Not one of them questioned what the citizens were openly discussing about O’Neill’s ethics and crimes.  It seems these “leaders” aren’t leaders at all.  Instead, they proved themselves to be passive followers of O’Steal, begging like piglets for whatever Grand Thief II would drop from the table as he was feeding his own double chin and growing bel.

If it is true that Peter O’Neill is Satan then these 105+ willingly sold their soul to Satan.  Name your favourite governor!!!  He was one of Satan’s followers.  Name your favourite minister!!!  He was one of Satan’s most vocal supporters!   Name anyone who has been in the O’Neill government now or before, and you’ve got yourself a true supporter of thievery and corruption.  Because every single one of these O’Neill supporters knew from the start that they were electing a man with a very dubious reputation.  And still they did it, all in the name of personal greed.

Beldon Namah, how you keep telling us what a terrible fellow this Peter O’Neill creature is.  Yet, you were the pamuk in the same bed with him not all that long ago!!   Don Polye, Kerenga Kua, William Duma, how you all cry, cry, cry now that you’ve been pushed away from the pig’s feeding bowl, now that Grand Thief II has turned his face away from yours.

None of you parliamentary pigs are leaders, like you pretend to be.  You’re all pig bowl feeders like most of the rest of the 105+ of your playpen mates.  None of you said a thing about O’Neill’s perpetual string of lies until you stopped being fed.    You quietly munch down the food as long as it’s there, but the moment it runs out, you squeal loudly for more.   Those are the cries we hear from you now.

The food you 105+ ratbags gloat and fight over are the district support grants that can easily be corrupted, the power and prestige that comes with a ministry, and what that power and prestige can put into your personal pockets.    Deposed ministers, your inflated egos aren’t angry at O’Neill because of his corruption.  No, you’re pissed off with him because he pushed a pin into your ego balloons and popped them when he sacked and shamed you before the nation’s eyes.

There is no better example of an oversized ego (and stomach) than Don Polye who not many months ago was boasting that the World Bank choose him to be their chairman because of his economic expertise.  Ha!  The chairmanship rotates among member nations and it was nothing more than PNG’s symbolic turn to take the chair, filled by whoever might be Finance Minister at the time, whether it be a professional economist (which Polye is not) or a professional toilet cleaner (which dozens of our MPs should be doing right now in Bomana).    Polye’s many pieces of evidence against Peter O’Neill were all there many months ago, yet Polye stayed silent.   Why?  Because he was still allowed to feed at the pig bowl.

Let’s also not forget Delilah Gore and her now infamous “do you know who I am?” tantrum on the Air Niugini plane.  Her behaviour is duly noted, but don’t think it’s unusual for the Grand Pighouse.  Our 105+ ratbags are mostly very pleasant people so long as you can convince them that you DO know who they are.

Hopefully Peter O’Neill falls this week.   But if this great event does happen, let’s be frank:  There are not more than about 6 – yes 6 – out of the 111 MPs who actually seem to give a shit about the people, who don’t use their power and prestige to live high above the people or line their pockets with gold, or take off for a Cairns shopping trip the moment they get their allowances.   Most of those 6 are not charismatic, they aren’t even high profile, and they don’t speak out much because they are so busy serving.   Worst of all, they have no interest in buying votes.

That’s why none of them have a chance in hell to become Prime Minister.  Instead, we will see a new fat piggie become our Grand Thief III.  Patrick Pruaitch?  That drunkard and buffoon is on the pig’s current ‘A’ list to take over from O’Neill!!!

Hail, hail, our Grand Thief III, newest addition to our PNG monarchy of corruption!!!!!

Until we stop worrying about personalities and start focusing on fighting the corrupt system that produces these ratshits, we’ll continue getting exactly what we deserve.    Funny, we all pretty much know the system is broken.  Yet for reasons unknown, we leave it be.  The pigs are pleased.

How can a corrupt person fight corruption?

From EMTV News

Prime Minister Peter O’Neill has announced the launching of an investigation against Chairman of Investigation Task Force Sweep, Sam Koim.

In a statement released this afternoon, Prime Minister Peter O’Neill justified statements he had made last week, regarding the ITFS, being ‘compromised’.

He said the government will be asking the Police Commissioner to conduct a major investigation into Mr Koim’s conduct, and his alleged meetings with deputy opposition leader, Sam Basil.

Mr O’Neill said the government had evidence which pointed to Mr Koim meeting with key political figures, including Mr Basil, in private since 2011.

When contacted for comment, Mr Koim described the PM’s comments as ‘very serious and defamatory’, and Mr O’Neill must have the evidence to back up his claims.

When asked to confirm or deny the allegations of impropriety, he said this was a decoy to divert public attention, and asked the question: “How cans a corrupted person, fight corruption?”
